Notes This sign hung at the entrance to the Helena Chinese Masonic temple on West Main.

Red wooden sign with incised characters painted gold; four large characters in the center read: "We rely heavily on your generous favor." Characters at left translate: "reverently donated by grateful disciple Chen Chung-yuan" Character isolated in the upper left hand corner is "mo" (spit on ) meaning that vows were sealed with spit. Characters on far right: "Kuang-hsu zu chi ting chi tan" (1898 winter season on an auspicious day).
