Illustrated letter. The front of the letter is addressed "Mr and Mrs. Dukes (Fisher) Seattle Wash" (sketch of a man standing along shore fishing). The letter reads "Dear Friends, Thanking you both for sending us xmas am going to send 2 pictures, squaw mt and going to sun. Last Thanksgiving we drove home to Glacier Park with trailer. The trailer fell down from our car about 20 miles from Great Falls (sketch of a car and trailer on a road). I used the wood with trouble hand drill. The hand drill was old about 25 years ago (sketch of a hand drill) electric wire was out. I think I pay new other hand drill it cost too 38.00. You have your drill if you want to sell me will you sell it?
The back of the page continues "other small drill carving was out. I will send it to East for Fixing. We were at Glacier Park, much snow was 1 fts deep. Best Thanksgiving. Ray Lutz told me some deer at Dawson & his ranch. I didn't go thought much snow well after deer hunting. I will write again Your old friend John L. Clarke".
