Notes Woman's frame saddle. Tree of wood and elk antler covered with rawhide and fringed buckskin. Wooden stirrups are covered with rawhide, beaded with seed beads and brass studs. Beadwork on stirrups is thread sewn, overlay stitch. Two beaded saddle flaps with red trade cloth binding and brass sequins. Flap on cantle is Crow type, c. 1880. Flap on pommel is Blackfeet type, c. 1880. Rigging of commercial saddle leather with iron rings. Burlap cinch sewn with buckskin.
