Letter reads: "Great Falls / Mont. / March 12, 1919 / Dear Mr. Geo. W. Farr I received your kind invitation to attend the Stock Growers meeting at Miles and Il be thair with the rest of the reps/ cow folks are scarce now but I am glade of a chance to meet the fiew that still live(.) most of my old friends eathir rode for ore owned irons (.) many of them have crossed the big range but they left tracks i history that the farmer cant plow under / good ore bad they were regular men and Americas last frontiers men / with thanks and best wishes / C M Russell."
