Illustrated letter and envelope. There is a pen and ink sketch in the top corner that depicts a landscape scene and two fisherman in a boat. The letter is addressed "Dear Peanut Verna" and reads "Am going to write you more again tell you about electric hand drill. Don't get drill for me. A few day ago I paid new master drill $45.00 here. At Straine store wrote to East for other light drill for me. When I paid $19.00 hope get it[.] At Sherburne Lake fishing Pickerels[.]. Across the bottom of the page is a pen and ink sketch of a river and three fishermen. The letter is signed "J.L. CLARKE" in the lower corner.
