An illustration across the bottom depicts two men ice fishing with a car in the background. The text reads: "Glacier Park Montana / Jan. 4, 1940 / Dear Friend / Today we got your letter. I thought Ella and Buddy Clarke moved out from your - we will intend to settle this. Yesterday I drove to Browning. Some snow on the road at Browning, but no snow here from Browning. It is now snowing here tonight [.] We think we will move to Cut Bank next week. We will look for rent furniture. Is it law to allow fishing from the ice hole this month if you come here soon & fish [.]"
