Shown in Helena Quilt show in 1980's. Hand quilted, hand pieced cotton quilt in postage stamp pattern, consists of 292 pieced squares of 25 - .50" squares in blue, red, pink, green, gray and brown, with blue and red predominating, alternating with white or light coordinating colors. These 2.50" to 2.75" pieced squares alternate with 2.5" - 2.75" solid whites of same size, placed diagonally on quilt. 3" white strip across top and bottom. .25" blue binding on all 4 sides. Quilted in .50" squares. Cotton batting. Lining of white cotton muslin sacks, probably feed or flour, and some still have faint labels.
