The letter reads "I was glad to get Christmas letter from you[.] You know that I am lazy in answering you[.] I looked you but I drove traveling Browning sometimes when you missed me away. Howard did n[o]t go fishing all last summer with me. They left Shelby for Mesa Arizona Sept first[.] Last Dec 1 I work carving for sale in the Buttery. Then there are about 500 people buy every day. The weather is half cold and warm[.] Wet snow here. Stay here until May. Joyce stay with her daughter and her husband, He work T.V. yet in San Francisco[.] Hope you write me sometime (image of two fisherman in a boat fishing)[.] All winter you often fish big fishes[.] Sincerely Yours J.
