Four piece syringe, glass plunger, glass syringe and two metal needles all in a metal case. On the outside of the case is stamped into the metal "FENGEL" and below this in very small letters is the word "GERMANY" and on the inside lid of the case is a piece of tape and written on the tape is "Irene Wold B1354 / St. Patrick Hosp. / J 106 J 941". The plunger, syringe and needles all are held in place by a metal housing which is also hinged, when lifted up the items are slid out and able to be assembled.
On the plunger in red ink are the numbers 9488, on the syringe is "YALE B-D LOK-SYRINGE / Becton Dickincon & Co" Also in red ink are the measurement numbers and lines and also the number 9488. The needles are housed in a metal sheath and when needed can be pulled out either end. On the needles the locking portion has stamped into the metal "YALE / RUSTLESS" / "PAT. NO. 2076121" On the hub of the needle is stamped "YALE / RUSTLESS" and on the opposite side of the hub reads "B-D / 20" and on the other needle it reads "B-D / 22".
