Entered in Garfield County Fair in 1929, winning a red ribbon (second place). Registered in Montana Historic Project at Flathead Quilters Guild in Kalispell on 4/24/1999).
Hand-sewed patchwork quilt of mostly silk, but a few wool and cotton pieces. 5" square log cabin blocks in light and dark with green center, are joined in a manner creating alternating light and dark stripes diagonally across the quilt. Centers and corners of blocks have tie of double white heavy thread. Batting type undetermined. Lining of blue cambric folds over top, along upper & lower edges. Quilted top folds over lining along sides.
