Page 1 - "Well I am going to write you a letter. I forgot about answering you long time[.] I will write more sometime with the draws. It is snowing today and little cold. At Glacier Park much snow deep about 2 ft. Last month I drove with Morton fireman there we saw about 75 elk up on the Hwy mt but they could not ocme over the reservation 1 mile from the reservation[.]
Back of page 1 - Across the top of the page is a landscape scene - mountains in the background and two hunters in the foreground sitting around a fire and looking at the elk on the side of the mountain. "We ate lunch and watched the elk 1 hour up. The fire was warm upon us. No elk's track in the snow[.] Then Howard and Readin were here & visited 2 days last month[.] He wants his trailer & fix the boat on the trailer before summer (image of a fishing boat on a trailer). Until June we all will move home to Glacier Park. go fishing for 1 to 2 months we will come here again. Good business carving sale here[.] I will write you some days[.] Best Regards John L Clarke"
