This drawing was produced by the artist for her book, "Montana Pay Dirt: A Guide to the Mining Camps of the Treasure State" (Denver: Sage Press, 1963). It is illustration # 45 on p. 201 of that publication.
Depiction of delapidated buildings. The clustered buildings recede from the left foreground to the middle ground on the right edge of the image. A dirt road recedes from the center of the foreground along the bottom edge and disappears between the buildings in the center background. There is a high-line pole in the foreground on the right side. Bare hills form the background.
